Join us for the very first Art Club Meetup, a creative afternoon centered around art, community, nostalgia, and storytelling.

We'll begin at 11:00 AM at Ruby Jean's, where participants can grab a drink or bite to eat while exploring the current exhibition by featured artist Isaiah Russell in the Art Hall. We'll hear from Isaiah about his work and creative journey before taking a short walk together to RAW Art Creative Studio.

Once at the studio, artists Isaiah Russell, Aisha Imani Sanaa and Remy Wharry will guide participants through a nostalgic collage-making workshop inspired by childhood memories, family stories, pop culture, and the iconic film Coming to America.

We'll have the movie playing in the background, popcorn popping, and plenty of collage materials available—including vintage-inspired papers, magazines, and cutouts from Coming to America. Participants are encouraged to bring personal memorabilia such as childhood photos, family pictures, old letters, ticket stubs, photocopies, or other meaningful keepsakes they'd like to incorporate into their artwork.

Create a piece that celebrates your inner child, honors your memories, reimagines yourself in your favorite movie scenes, or simply captures the era that shaped you.
